- Come in freshly showered and exfoliated.
- If you suffer from dry skin, apply a tiny amount of water-based moisturizer.
- You will be asked to remove all jewelry. If you wear permanent jewelry, we will work around it.
- Wear loose cotton clothing, long pants and sleeves preferred. Shoes should be loose, preferably flip flops.
- Wax and/or shave the night before your spray tan.
- Avoid using retinols a week before
- Let your spray tan tech know if you have tinted brows as chemical reactions may occur.
- You’ve just had a professional grade medical peel – although we can spray from the chest down.
- If you have a sunburn
- If you come to your appointment with only tight clothing to wear
- If you have just had a full body wax
No, there is no such thing. However, our solution is higher quality in that we source organic sugar beets from France.
It has been proven that tanning beds and too much exposure to the sun can cause skin cancer. Custom airbrush spray tans are a safer way to achieve a beautiful, natural looking glow.
For weddings, parties, public events and red carpet parties. We suggest 1-2 days before the big event.
You will need to leave the tan on your skin for a minimum of 8 hours. You can talk to your spray tan technician before the appointment if you need to leave the solution on for less time. And yes, you can sleep in our solution, just ensure you wear dark cotton pajamas and use old sheets.
- Use a DHA based lotion/extender to extend your tan and always wash your hands after use. Use every other day.
- Avoid taking long hot showers or steams. Sweating can also break down your tan.
- Don’t use mineral oil based lotions. Use DHA based lotions only and wash your hands after use.
- Exfoliating, sweating, swimming in chlorine/salt bleach pools are not recommended.
Absolutely NOT. You will still need to use SPF when out in the sun.
We have never had that feedback about ours. It has a very pleasant cherry almond scent that slowly goes away in about 1 to 2 hours.
No, but bronzer will transfer onto your sheets and clothing generally the first day so wear something dark and always wear loose fitting clothing too and after your appointment. If you are concerned about your bedding, change your sheets and put down a towel on your car seats.
Call us and let us know about the stain and we will help you out. A simple lemon and sugar scrub will work. Take a lemon and mix it with some sugar and the lemon will lighten and the sugar will exfoliate. You can also use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Simply dampen it and lightly buff off mishaps.
Buzz Off Bumps!
28.00Cover yourself in baby oil, leave on for 15 minutes and shower using a hot shower. Exfoliate your skin using a dry brush. QB Skincare’sBuzz off Bumps wipes are great for stubborn areas since they contain glycolic acid. This method may not remove it all but it will remove most.
Shave the day of your spray tan using soap and water. Do not use any shaving products that contain lanolin. If you need to wax please try to wax at Queen Bee a day before your spray tan to avoid the solution from getting into your pores. You can spray tan after a wax, but only if you have had smaller areas waxed like your brows, lip or bikini line. Ensure your technician knows everything you have done to your skin before you spray tan.
Please consult a physician first. Many people who are allergic to spray tan bronzers usually have a reaction to Mica or some of the other listed ingredients. You can ask for the ingredients before your service.
Yes, just make sure it’s water-based and apply it thinly.
Check with each location you book with. Some offer a “rapid” tan that you can rinse off after 3 hours.
